| NMRC was established in 1982 to provide research and training back-up for industry in Ireland. It now employs 200 staff who are active in all areas of microelectronics technology. There are major groups in silicon process technology, packaging and MCMs, IC design, Microsystems, compound semiconductors and materials technology, test and reverse engineering.
